2,000+ Peace Mass Drivers Drives Through Twisty Cone Course During Refresher Training
Yuletide, over 2,000 Peace Mass drivers drives buses through twisty cone course during refresher training.
The retraining exercises has been ongoing since the onset of ‘Ember Months.
It is designed to keep drivers properly grounded on matters of safety and customer handling.

Peace Mass Transit, PMT, is currently giving its over 2000 drivers refresher training on safe driving at the companies headquarters in Emene, Enugu State.
Part of the retraining exercises which is intended to upgrade the drivers existing skills involves driving the bus through twisty cone course.

The training, which has been ongoing since the onset of ‘Ember Months, also includes basic customer relations expectations.
These training are done regularly and it is supervised by PMT safety and Customer Service Departments. They are designed to keep drivers properly grounded on matters of safety and customer handling.
Safety Manager, Sunday Igwegbe, a retired State Traffic Officer (STO), explained that the exercise will remind the drivers of their obligations to our passengers.
He added that it will also allow them to update themselves with the rudiments of defensive and safe driving, especially during this busy period.

Few months ago, the leading transport and logistics company recommended compulsory eye test for all its drivers. It is part of ensuring the safety of its teeming passengers.
