2019 Mercedes-AMG GT 53 4-Door Coupe Will Start At ₦35.7m ,The Cheapest In The AMG GT 4-Door Family

Mercedes has finally released the pricing for the Mercedes-AMG GT 53 4-Door Coupe. It will starts at $99,000 ( minus the destination and delivery charge), making the Porsche Panamera Turbo and Audi RS7 Sportback “rival” the most affordable variant of the high-powered Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door family.

For comparison,the base price of the AMG GT coupe (1) starts at $112,400 while the more potent GT 63 Coupe , which packs a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that pumps out 577 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque, starts at a whopping $136,500.

Under the GT 53’s bonnets is a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six that produces 429 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque, along with a small electric motor that adds an additional 21 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque at low engine speeds.

The powertrain is mated to a nine-speed transmission and an AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system, enabling the car to move from standstill to 62 miles per hour in just 4.4 seconds before hitting a limited top speed of 174 mph.

The new Mercedes-AMG GT 53 4-Door Coupe goes on sale this March.
