Second-generation 2023 Genesis G90 flagship sedan launched in Europe as a Mercedes-Benz S-Class rival.
G90 is designed to satisfy both owners who take the wheel themselves and those who are driven by chauffeurs.
Available in two wheelbase sizes. SWB available with a choice of 4 or 5 seats while LWB will be available as a 4-seater.
The second-generation 2023 Genesis G90 flagship sedan on Thursday July 13th made its European debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, one of the most renowned automotive events in the world.
Designed to satisfy both owners who take the wheel themselves and those who are driven by chauffeurs, the 2023 Genesis G90 will rival flagship sedans like the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7 Series, and the Audi A8.
The G90 redefines luxury with its captivating new Crest Grille flanked by sleek double-line headlights at the front and back. In addition, the Clamshell Hood design for the bonnet gives the G90 a distinctively sleek yet imposing design.
According to Hyundai’s premium division, the G90 European model will be available in two wheelbase sizes, with the short wheelbase available with a choice of four or five seats while the long wheelbase model will only be available as a 4-seater.
In addition, the long wheelbase version, which offers an extra 190mm of legroom for occupants in the rear, will have individually heated and ventilated rear seats with massage functions, as well as leg and footrests.
“Well informed people who know Genesis know G90 and they have been asking us when it will come to Europe. The car has been hugely successful in Korea, the US, Canada and Middle East and now we can confirm it has arrived in Europe,”, says Lawrence Hamilton, MD at Genesis Motor Europe.
“Europe is the home of luxury and customers who choose G90 will want for nothing. European cars will be luxuriously specified. The very best, and latest, technology, luxury and safety equipment will come as standard on every European G90.”
Genesis is mute on the engine options for the European model, but the US-spec G90 has two engines options, including a turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 engine with 48V e-Supercharger, which churns out 409 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque.
