Jeep Launches All-new 2026 Recon, The World’s First And Only Off-road-ready Electric SUV

Jeep launches all-new 2026 Recon SUV, the world’s first and only off-road-ready electric Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV).
Available at launch is the rugged Moab trim, which boasts of 4 drive modes, 33-inch tyres, Gloss Black fascia and wheel flares.
2026 Jeep Recon start at $65,000. Production begins early next year, with initial launches in the U.S. and Canada.
Stellantis-owned Jeep has debuted the all-new 2026 Recon, with the American brand marketing the 650-horsepower off-road-ready truck as the “first and only, fully electric, Trail Rated SUV in the industry.”
Designed to tackle a variety of different terrain types, the all-new Wrangler-inspired Recon – which joins the Wagoneer S in the brand’s EV lineup, delivers legendary Jeep 4×4 capability in a fully electrified package.

The Jeep Recon’s propulsion system is the front and rear Stellantis-designed electric drive modules (EDMs). Its dual-motor powertrain produces a combined output of 650-horsepower and 620 pound-feet of torque.
Its 100-kilowatt-hour, 400-volt battery-pack – protected with a full suite of sturdy, high-strength steel underbody shields – offers an estimated all-electric range of up to 250-miles or about 402-kilometres (based on trim).
Available at launch is the rugged Moab trim, which boasts of 4 drive modes : Rock, Auto, Sport, Snow, Sand and a 33-inch tyres that provide 23.1 cm (9.4 inches) of ground clearance, Gloss Black fascia and wheel flares.
In addition, the Jeep Recon offers a standard dual-pane sunroof or an available Sky One-Touch powertop and stands as the only fully electric vehicle designed with removable doors, rear quarter glass and swing gate glass.

Inside, the Recon gets a standard 12.3-inch driver cluster featuring customizable menu options that is paired with a 14.5-inch horizontal touchscreen radio/center display – the largest ever offered in a Jeep vehicle.
The 2026 Recon has starting MSRP of $65,000. Jeep will begin the production of the “First Off-road Electric Vehicle” early next year, with initial launches in the U.S. and Canada, followed by global expansion.
