As odd as it looks, someone has done the unthinkable by transforming a Tesla Model 3 into a convertible. The looks of this ride is like taking a big pill and trying to swallow it. It’s an awesome creative design as it looks unique from the regular open-top vehicles. Unlike its petrol-powered premium compact rivals from Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz, the Tesla Model 3 can only be had in a single body style: a four-door sedan.
The company responsible for this creative work is NewPortConvertible, an American based coachbuilder. They have done a similar conversion with the bigger Tesla Model S some years ago. To carry out the conversion will cost $29,500 (₦12m). With $10,000 (₦4m) more if you want that folding soft top to be operated at the push of a button.
It’s pretty expensive and the car itself is not included, so probably you are a Model 3 owner to carry out this conversion. The company claims that the soft top has been tested in the rain and wind. This is to make sure that it can withstand the elements.
