The all-new 2021 BMW 4 Series debuts with two massive Kidney Grilles, new tech, improved dynamics, and a fresh mild-hybrid six-cylinder engine.





BMW has unveiled a redesigned 4 Series coupe. Just like the concept, the new coupe debuts with two massive kidney grilles, new tech, improved dynamics, and a fresh mild-hybrid six-cylinder engine.

On the outside, the new 2021 BMW 4 Series spots two massive grilles; an Adaptive LED headlights; an L-shaped taillights adorn the rear; and a set of 18-inch wheels come standard ( 19-inch wheels available as an option).

Inside, it comes with SensaTec faux leather finishes in either Canberra Beige or Black colours. The Vernasca leather is available as an option.

Standard in the BMW’s iDrive 7.0 infotainment system includes an 8.8-inch centre touchscreen and a 5.1-inch digital display between the analogue instrument cluster. The 3 Series’ 10.3-inch centre screen and 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster is available as option.





Standard safety features includes front collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning with steering assist, and speed limit information.

Optional features includes Driving Assistance Professional package, lane-keep assist with side collision avoidance, and rear automatic emergency braking.

Inside the bonnet, the BMW 430i and 430i xDrive gets a 255hp turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder.

The engine gives the rear-drive 430i a 0-60 mph time of 5.5 seconds, while the xDrive does this in 5.3 seconds. Both models has an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 kmh).

The M440i xDrive model carries a new 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine with 48-volt mild-hybrid technology. The setup produces a combined output of 369 bhp and 369 lb-ft. It gives the M440i a 0-60 mph time of just 4.3 seconds.

Four diesel versions, including the 420d, 420d xDrive, 430d xDrive, and 440d xDrive are available.  They all come in both rear- and all-wheel-drive configurations.

The new coupe will makes its official debut in October 2020. It will reach dealers before the year runs out as a 2021 model.

The 4 Series starts at ‭$46,595‬, for a 430i model with rear-wheel drive, while the all-wheel drive comes with additional $2,000.

Also available at launch will be an all-wheel drive M440i with a starting price of $‭59,495‬. All figures exclude destination and clearing charges in Nigeria.
