Air Peace Announces Resumption Of Flights To Dubai - autojosh

Air Peace Limited announce it will resume its Dubai flight services via Sharjah in the coming weeks.

This development comes a day after the Federal Government of Nigeria lifted the ban on flights from and to the UAE.

Nigeria’s biggest airline, Air Peace Limited, on Saturday announced it would resume its flight services to Dubai, the capital of United Arab Emirates.





In a statement posted on the airline’s Instagram page, titled ‘Air Peace Latest Update On Dubai Flights’, Air Peace revealed that the Dubai service will resume in the coming weeks.

The statement read :

“Air Peace is delighted to inform the flying public that it will be resuming its Dubai service via Sharjah in the coming weeks.

“This is consequent upon the Federal Government’s lifting of the ban on flights from and to the UAE.

“More updates will be provided via all our official communication channels as time goes on.”

The airline further stated that more information concerning the resumption of services to Dubai would be announced.

This development comes a day after the Minister for Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, announced the suspension of Emirates airline flights into Nigeria.

Speaking on Friday, the Minister for Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, said ;

“Today we received communications from Emirates removing some of the conditions for travelling for which we had concerns,”

“Having done that it is necessary to lift the ban on Emirates. This subsequent lifting of ban is a product of lengthy negotiations between us and them.”

The Federal Government had in March suspended Emirates airline from flying into Nigeria after the UAE flag carrier imposed additional COVID-19 test requirements on passengers from Nigeria.
