Watch As Cars Carefully Drive Around Russian Anti-tank Landmines In Ukraine
Footage shows Ukrainian drivers carefully drive around Russian anti-tank landmines placed on the road near Kyiv.
The anti-tank mines carries around 7.5 kilograms of explosive charge, which explode only when subjected to significant pressure.
The Red Cross said that the “anti-tank mines fusing mechanism requires a pressure of about 100-300 kg to activate it”.
According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the average weight for a regular car is 1,885 kg.

A video recently went viral on social media which appears to show Ukrainian drivers carefully driving their cars around landmines reportedly laid out on a highway near Kyiv by Russian forces.
In the video, two cars safely maneuvered around the potential death trap, with one particularly fearless motorist drive across it while towing a trailer.

According to Justin Crump, a former British Army tank Commander, the anti-tank blast mine is a soviet era TM-62M that can be laid manually or automatically from a mine laying machine.
Justin Crump, who said both sides are using mines in this area to prevent battlefield movement, added that TM-62M are relatively effective in damaging armored vehicles.

The TM-62M anti-tank mines is designed to blow up vehicles. It carries around 7.5 kilograms (17 lb) of explosive charge, which explode only when subjected to significant pressure.
The International Committee of the Red Cross states that the “anti-tank mines fusing mechanism requires a pressure of about 100-300 kg (220 – 661 pounds) to activate it”, and according to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the average weight for a regular car is 1,885 kg (4,156 pounds) .
