Goodbye To Combustion Engine As Next Generation Dodge Charger And Challenger Will Be Electric Only
Recently, a good number of automakers are transitioning from internal combustion cars to electric cars. Dodge has a confirmed plan of replacing the prolific V8 power in their Charger and Challenger as from next the next generation production with electric motors.This next generation platform will not only lose the Hemi V8, but all internal-combustion engines. It is going to be a purely electric affair.
As at last year, Dodge even announced that it is working on a new electric muscle car. So it’s no secret. In the next few weeks, we would likely see the debut in concept form. confirmed the next-generation platform will not only lose the Hemi V8, but all internal-combustion engines.
Dodge charger has been in production since 1966 and has run through seven generations. The latest generation is the LD generation which its production started since 2011 till date.
The Challenger has been around since 1970 and has run through three generations. The latest generation is the third generation. Its production started in 2008 till date.
