2022 Independence Day Drive And Show Had Cars That Once Ruled Nigerian Roads On Display (PHOTOS)

This year’s 2022 Independence Day Drive and Show in Lagos had classic cars that once ruled Nigerian roads on display.
This year’s event, dubbed Independence Day Car Show and Drive, was organized by The Classic Car Club of Nigeria.
Well maintained classic cars on display includes Land Rover, Morris Minor, Volkswagen Beetle and Pontiac Chieftain.
Other are MG Midget, a Mercedes-Benz 200/230, Mercedes-Benz W115, Mercedes-Benz W201 (190 series sedan) and a 280 SE.
On Sunday October 2nd, 2022, car enthusiasts from around Nigeria gathered at the Eko Hotel and Suites, in the heart of Victoria Island, Lagos State, to mark the nation’s 62nd Independence Day Anniversary.
This year’s event, dubbed the Independence Day Car Show and Drive, was organized by The Classic Car Club of Nigeria, in partnership with several sponsors, including Providus Bank, AA Rescue and popular Nigerian car tuner, Khaz Customs.
Like from the previous shows, the well-attended automotive event featured the drive as well as the exhibition of classic and vintage cars that once ruled the Nigerian roads.
Well maintained classic cars that turned up for the show includes the Land Rover Defender Series II, 1950s Chevrolet, 1964 Morris Minor, 1950-60s Buick, a 1970s Volkswagen Beetle and Kombi as well as Pontiac Chieftain.
Other cars that turned heads at the show includes MG Midget, a Mercedes-Benz 200/230, Mercedes-Benz W115, Mercedes-Benz W201 (190 series sedan) and a 280 SE.
