2024 Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4Matic arrives with new levels of luxury to fight the BMW X7 and the Bentley Bentayga SUVs.

New Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600, along with the GLS-Class lineup, gets a revised exterior styling, improved technology.

Mercedes has not given a specific release date, but says that the Maybach of SUVs will hit local dealers later this year.

While Mercedes hasn’t reveal the starting price for the 2024 Maybach GLS, the current MSRP for 2023 model comes in at $170k.

In comparison, BMW X7 costs as much as $103,100 for the V8-powered M60i while Bentley Bentayga starts closer to $200,000.

Mercedes-Benz has lifted the lid on the revised GLS-Class lineup, including the brand’s Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4Matic flagship SUV, which is set to arrive for MY2024 to take on the BMW X7 and the more expensive Bentley Bentayga EWB.

The 2024 Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4Matic, along with the GLS-Class lineup, gets a revised exterior styling, improved technology, and even more scope for personalization.

Updates to the Maybach GLS included vertical chrome bars and the “Maybach” lettering on the model’s high-quality radiator grille. The air inlet grilles feature a Maybach pattern and have a chrome surround.

As before, the Mercedes-Maybach GLS gets a full panorama roof and rolls on 22-inch wheels as standard, but a 23‑inch forged wheel in typical Maybach design with forged wheel bolt cover is new to the options list.

The GLS 600 will still be available in its signature two-tone exterior look, but the Maybach SUV, along with the GLS and GLS 63 AMG will benefit from new paint colors, including Twilight Blue Metallic and Manufaktur Alpine Grey.

Inside, an exclusive Mercedes‑Maybach colour combinations MANUFAKTUR crystal white/silver grey pearl and MANUFAKTUR mahogany brown/macchiato beige, are offered. Two USB ports (optional equipment) with 100 W output are also available in the rear of the centre console.

The engine specs for the new Mercedes-Maybach GLS SUV remain the same. A 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, that churns out 550 hp and 538 lb-ft of torque, allowing the hhhh tonne 2024 Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 to do a 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds and on to a top speed of 155 mph.

Mercedes-Benz has not given a specific release date for the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600. But the German luxury brand has promised that the Maybach of SUVs will hit local dealers a little later this year.
