Mini Clubman Is Now Finally Discontinued As Final Edition Models Set For September Launch
The curtain will soon fall for the practical Mini Clubman. The Mini with two back doors waves off with the aptly named Final Edition. Now we know what it costs.
The original Mini Clubman saw the light of day in 1969 and (contrary to what you might think) was certainly not the first Mini with two rear doors. The standard Mini Clubman was no more than a facelifted two-door Mini and only as a Mini Clubman Estate did it have the typical doors. Yet Mini (due to naming rights) dusted off the Clubman name in 2007 for a modern reincarnation of the Traveler, Countryman, and Estate versions of the classic Mini. Now the Mini Clubman can retire again, but not before the station wagon version is appropriately waved off with a Final Edition.
Of the farewell version, which was already extensively treated in March, 1,969 will be built (after the introduction year of the primal Clubman). It is now known that you have to pay just under 50 grand for a Mini Clubman Final Edition. It costs €49,990, to be exact. Then you have the 136 hp Cooper, for the 178 hp Cooper S Final Edition you have lost at least € 57,990. The Mini Clubman Final Edition is expected to be in the showroom from September 2023.
