2023 Bentley Bentayga S Towing Capacity Review : Putting a $300K Ultra-Luxury SUV To Work
2023 Bentley Bentayga S towing capacity review: Putting a hand-built $300K ultra-luxury SUV to work.
Bentayga has Max. tow rating of 3,492 kg (7,700 pounds) – it tows more than G-Wagon with 3,175 kg (7,000 pound).
During test, Bentayga S towed a Polaris RZR and a horse trailer (4,180 pounds) across so many terrains, including bumpy and hilly roads.
Not many customers will ever hook their Bentley Bentayga ultra-luxury SUV to trailer or even take the six-figure british-made hand-built ultra-luxury SUV for an off-roading adventures.
With a maximum tow rating of 3,492 kg (7,700 pounds), the Bentley Bentayga truck will even tow more than a iconic Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon, which has a towing rate of 3,175 kg (7,000 pound).
But this hasn’t stopped THEDrive’s Caleb Jacobs from putting a 2023 Bentley Bentayga S towing capacity to test. As tested, this twin-turbo V8 Bentley – finished in British Racing Green – costs a cool $300,000 ($299,715).

After towing a Polaris RZR Pro R 4 Ultimate and a horse trailer (4,180 pounds) across so many terrains, including bumpy and hilly roads, Caleb, who is so impressed by the Bentayga S’s stability during this test, gave it a Score : 8/10.
Overall, Caleb came to the conclusion that the Bentayga S is even more “refined than the Lamborghini Urus, more special than the Audi Q8, and a lot less common than the Porsche Cayenne, all of which ride on the same platform as this.”
The Bentayga towing capacity is never in doubt as a Bentayga Extended Wheelbase (EWB) recently towed 2.5 tonnes (5,511. pounds) of straw in a specially-prepared trailer during a record-setting run at Goodwood.
Like in Bentayga S used by Caleb, this Bentayga EWB is powered by Bentley’s proven 4.0-litre, turbocharged V8 petrol engine, which developes 542 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque, resulting in a top speed of 180 mph and 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds.
