Mercedes Denies False Claims About Its Donations To Support Israeli Operations In Palestine

Mercedes-Benz refutes false claims about its donations to support ongoing Israeli operations in Gaza, Palestine.
In a statement, Mercedes said is very concerned about the suffering of civilians in Israel, Gaza, and the entire region.
It said since October, it has made monetary donations to non-governmental organizations to support humanitarian aid in Israel and Gaza.
Mercedes-Benz, the renowned German automaker, has refute false statements about its alleged donations to support Israeli military, amidst the latter’s ongoing military operations in Palestine that has reportedly claimed over 10,000 lives.
In a statement, Mercedes said that the allegations in recent media reports and social media conversations claiming it has made a donation to any military organisation are untrue.
Mercedes-Benz noted that is very concerned about the suffering of civilians in Israel, Gaza, and the entire region, adding that since October, it has made significant monetary donations to non-governmental organizations to support humanitarian aid in Israel and Gaza.
“Already in October, Mercedes-Benz donated one million euros in total to the aid organisations United Hatzalah and the German Red Cross.
“The German Red Cross in cooperation with its sister organizations the Palestinian Red Crescent (PRCS) and the Egyptian Red Crescent (ERCS), are currently organizing humanitarian aid for Palestinian civilians.
“United Hatzalah is a volunteer-based Israeli non-governmental organisation (NGO) which provides emergency medical response within minutes of any medical emergency for free throughout Israel.
“In November, Mercedes-Benz expanded its contribution to humanitarian aid on the ground with an additional donation of one million euros to the German Red Cross.
“With its donations the company wants to make a contribution to alleviate the suffering of civilians in Israel and Gaza alike.”
