Watch : All-new 2025 Infiniti QX80 ultra-luxury SUV disassembled into thousands of pieces to get it above 100-story tower.

2025 Infiniti QX80 was lifted 1,100-foot-tall outdoor observation deck, where it made its first public debut on March 20th.

Reassemble QX80 was so well-executed that even the brand’s head designer couldn’t tell it had been taken apart.

Infiniti’s all-new 2025 QX80 SUV is available in 4 trims – the base PURE, LUXE, SENSORY and the range-topping AUTOGRAPH.

Last month, the latest-gen all-new 2025 Infiniti QX80 ultra-luxury SUV made its first public debut at the Edge in Hudson Yards, a 1,100-foot-tall (340 m) outdoor observation centerpiece in New York.

But getting the full-size luxury SUV onto the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere took the Japanese automaker 40 days, 4,300 man hours and nearly 100 elevator trips to execute.

According to Infiniti, getting the big flagship SUV up the 100-story centerpiece required the disassembling of the QX80 into thousands of pieces to allow them fit into the elevators.

The disassembly included the removal of the engine and fuel system, precision-cut of the roof and frame into modular pieces as well as the reverse-engineering of the electrical system.

With all the component parts finally lifted up the tower, hundreds of team members began the reassemble of the all-new QX80 – a task that was completed 11 hours before the reveal of the new flagship SUV.

According Infiniti, the reassemble of the QX80 SUV shown to the public was so well-executed that even the brand’s head designer couldn’t tell the all-new flagship had been taken apart.

Infiniti’s all-new 2025 QX80 SUV will be available in 4 trims, starting from the base PURE – which starts at $82,450, the LUXE, SENSORY and the range-topping AUTOGRAPH, priced from $100,645.

The new QX80 gets a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 making 450 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque – a bump of 50 hp and 103 lb-ft over the outgoing model fitted with the naturally aspirated 5.6-liter V-8.
