Soon, A New Mazda Logo Will Debut

Mazda is getting a new logo, which is set to feature a flatter, more modern design, reportedly optimized for smartphones and digital screens.
This update marks the most significant redesign since the debut of the seagull-inspired “M” logo in 1997, a hallmark of Mazda’s identity for nearly three decades.
An official announcement is expected soon, and it should be noted that the company’s 105th anniversary falls on January 30th, so the unveiling could be timed to coincide with that occasion. There’s also talk that the updated logo could coexist with the current design, depending on its implementation.
Despite removing the metallic texture, sharp edges, and layered depth of its predecessor, the logo remains unmistakably Mazda. The flatter emblem should look sharper on smartphone and laptop screens.
The exterior shape has been smoothed into a slightly more rounded shape, while the once curved wings of the seagull now have sharp, straight lines. Also, the black-and-white color scheme creates a clean, high-contrast aesthetic.
