Kia EV3 Names “Best Of The Best” Red Dot Award

The Kia EV3 compact electric SUV has been named ‘Best of the Best’ in the Red Dot: Product Design 2025 in the Cars & Vehicles category. Following the EV9’s win in 2024 and the success of the EV6 in 2022, this latest accolade highlights Kia’s continued leadership in setting new design standards on the global stage, as well as the continued success of its electric vehicles.
“Winning the Red Dot Design Award 2025 ‘Best of the Best’ for the Kia EV3 is a huge honour, especially after the success of the EV9, which received the same accolade last year. “This award is a reflection of the passion and commitment of Kia’s design team and all our colleagues to provide customers around the world with relevant and meaningful solutions,” said Executive Vice President and Head of Global Design at Kia.
“Based on our ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy, EV3 combines strong architectural lines with flat and curved surfaces, creating an emotional form that flows from logic. What is the global significance of the Red Dot Design Award?
The Red Dot Award is an internationally recognized design competition that recognizes excellence in product design, communication and design concepts. The “Best of the Best” award is the highest honor and is awarded only to the most groundbreaking designs. Kia will receive the award at the Red Dot Gala on July 8, 2025, at the Alto Theater in Essen, Germany.
