44th Olubadan of Ibadanland gifted Rolls-Royce Ghost Series 1 ahead of his coronation ceremony on Friday.

Rolls-Royce reportedly a combined birthday and coronation gift from Agba Oye of Ibadanland, Engr. Kola Kareem.

Fitted with personalized number plate “Olubadan Ti Ile Ibadanland”, the white Rolls-Royce Ghost was used during the coronation. 





Rolls-Royce’s “hallmark Magic Carpet Ride” is powered by a 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12, which generates 563-hp.

Photos shared shows the moment the keys to a white Rolls-Royce Ghost Series 1 was presented to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abdul-Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja (Arusa I).

Delivered earlier on Friday September 26th ahead of the coronation ceremony, this royal car is reportedly a combined birthday and coronation gift from billionaire businessman and Agba Oye of Ibadanland, Engr. Kola Kareem.

Fitted with personalized number plate “OLUBADAN TI ILE IBADANLAND”, which translates to “Olubadan of Ibadanland”, the white Rolls-Royce Ghost ultra-luxury sedan was used during the coronation of Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

Oba Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja turned 81 years on Thursday September 25th 2025, just a day before the coronation ceremony of the former Senator and Governor of Oyo State as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

Rolls-Royce Ghost

Rolls-Royce’s “hallmark Magic Carpet Ride” is powered by a 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12, which generates 563-horsepower and 577 lb-ft of torque.

The powertrain allowing this first-gen Rolls-Royce Ghost Series 1 (2009-2014) to reach 62 mph (100km/h) from rear in just 4.8 seconds and on to a top speed is electronically limited at 127 mph (205 km/h) for safety reasons.
