Qantas Airlines Is The World’s Safest Airline For 2019.See The Top 20 Safest Airlines
AirlineRatings.com,a website endorsed by the International Civil Aviation Organization, assessed 405 major airlines before delivering its verdict, taking into account previous incidents, the average age of their aircraft fleets, and audits from governments and the aviation industry’s regulatory bodies.
Qantas Airlines was AirlineRating’s world safest airline from 2014 to 2017 and joint winner in 2018 when the website chose not to rank its top 20.
AirlineRatings’ editor-in-chief said:
“It is extraordinary that Qantas has been the lead airline in virtually every major operational safety advancement over the past 60 years and has not had a fatality in the jet era”

2018’s 4.5 billion passenger flights and 45 million flights recorded 556 death in 15 separate plane crashes, putting the year as the third safest in aviation history in terms of the number of fatal accidents and the ninth safest in terms of the number of lives lost.
2017 record of zero accident deaths on passenger jets makes it the safest year in history for commercial airlines .
