A 1962 Peugeot 404 sedan recently turned heads at an unnamed filling station in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, after the driver branched to fill up its tank.
The classic car, which is surprisingly still in pristine condition, is one of several cars that ruled the Nigerian roads from the 60s to early 1980s.
In a video shared online, the driver, who simply identified himself as Joseph, said that the iconic car belonged to his late dad, who passed away three years ago.
Joseph said he occasionally drive the Peugeot 404 – which he said its now powered by both petrol and gas – to keep the 1.6 litre engine heated.

When the Kickstarter is not responding, Joseph further explained by demonstrating how the car can be started like a generator, by recoiling (rotating) a starter installed at the bonnet area.
