If you’ve been boasting that you’ll never buy a Nissan, this Navara will make you have a rethink. The company has hinted it to be the rival of the new Ford Ranger Raptor which we revealed to you earlier as seen HERE
The Nissan Navara is built on the same platform as the Mercedes-Benz X Class and will be introduced with a 2.3 litre four-cylinder diesel engine. However, a bigger V6 engine will be introduced eventually.
“If you would had asked me this question yesterday, I would have said this is not in our priority list. But if you are asking this question today, then I am saying this is an opportunity we would like to study”, Gupta said. “If we need to upgrade the tough and smart Navara to the sports grade, we can do it very easily. But the most important thing is which powertrain to adopt.”
