Bentley Mulliner Batur Teased Ahead Of Debut On Aug. 20th
Bentley Mulliner Batur will make its global debut on Sunday, August 21 at Monterey Car Week in California.
Bentley’s next bespoke show car is the next exclusive, handcrafted customisable grand tourer coachbuilt by Mulliner.
Like Bacalar it is replacing, Batur is named after Lake Batur located in Kintamani on the island of Bali, Indonesia.
Its design DNA will preview future range of Bentley Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), with the first to be launched in 2025.
Bentley Motors on Monday published a second teaser for the Mulliner Batur, which will make its global debut on Sunday, August 20th at Monterey Car Week in California.
Bentley Mulliner Batur is the next exclusive, handcrafted and infinitely customisable grand tourer coachbuilt by Mulliner. It a successor to the extraordinary Bacalar, a limited-edition model based on the Continental GT convertible.
Like the Bacalar, a run of 12 Barchetta-design Bentleys it is replacing, the Batur is named after Lake Batur located in Kintamani on the island of Bali, Indonesia.
Bentley says that the design DNA on the new ultimate grand tourer will preview future range of Bentley Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), with the first to be launched in 2025.
Also as per the Bacalar, an ultimate co-creation and personalisation opportunities is available for clients such as colour and finish as well as material options like sustainable natural fibre composites, low-CO2 leather and even 3D printed 18K gold.
The Batur celebrates Bentley’s iconic W12 engine, with an iteration producing more power and torque than ever before. Bentley says that the power of the “W12 will be matched by Bentley’s most advanced chassis system ever, bringing exceptional dynamism to match stunning straight-line performance.”
