Bugatti Will Unveil A One-Off $18m Chiron-based Hypercar At the Geneva Motor Show
There is a rumour making rounds that French automaker,Bugatti ,will unveil a one-off Chiron-based Hypercar at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in March, 2019.
This specially built car is said to belong to none other than Dr. Ferdinand Piech, the grandson of Ferdinand Porsche and former chairman of the Volkswagen Group.
And the price he paid for this mystery car? A whopping $18m dollars, that’s roughly ₦6.5b in Naira,enough to buy 783 brand new Toyota Camrys . To put the price into perspective, the Chiron has a base price of $3m while the limited-run Bugatti Divo starts at $5.8m
If the French automaker truly unveil this custom Bugatti Hypercar , then it will become the most expensive new car ever,dethroning the bespoke one-off $13 million Sweptail that Rolls-Royce specially built for an unnamed customer back in 2017.

Since the one-off Hypercar is said to be Chiron-based like the Limited Edition Divo , it will likely use a tweaked version of the 8.0-liter W16 engine to provide more power and probably sports an entirely new design from the current line of Bugatti Hypercars.
Two weeks ago, the Volkswagen-owned automaker unveiled a limited edition of French-themed Bugatti Chiron Sports-based Hypercar to mark its 110th anniversary.
