Check Out This Ford Ranger Raptor Carved In Wood (Photos And Video)
Wood carving is a very difficult art that requires a lot of skill and patient and carving a car out of wood is something else. The model featured is a Ford Ranger pickup truck and every part of the carving is so true to its look. We will be going through the process of how this magnificent creation was done. We have previewed a wood-carved vehicle before in the guise of an Audi Q7 and its the same guy who did this piece
To start with, it was made of wood (we all know that) but it was chiselled to perfection out of a large chunk of it (wood). A drill was also used to get the minimalistic details of the truck which seems simple but extremely difficult. As seen with the finished work, great care was taken to make sure that every moveable part is accurate. In addition to that, the carved Ranger has a functioning suspension too which is a 1st from the creator. We can also see some metal springs that make the suspension realistic and the engine is carved to near perfection.
The doors open and close, there’s a functioning tailgate and a roof rack with an antenna is featured. While the video lasts about 9 minutes, it took the builder 25 days from start to finish, and the completed project speaks for itself, as it is simply amazing.
