Checkout Mercedes-Benz Cars EFCC Recovered From An Alleged Yahoo Boy, His Mother & Girlfriend (PHOTOS)

An alleged Internet Fraudster, Kenneth Gift, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Benin, Edo state. EFCC recovered

The University of Port Harcourt undergraduate was arrested for allegedly engaging in internet fraud. Also arrested were his mother and his girlfriend.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) team that did the arrest also confiscated three Mercedes Benz cars belonging to Kenneth Gift.

In a statement on Thursday, Dele Oyewale, the commission’s spokesperson, said the 22-year-old Gift Kenneth is a computer science undergraduate of the University of Port Harcourt. He was arrested alongside Dandy Spice, his girlfriend, and Dorah Animah, his mother, in Agbor, Delta state.

Oyewale said they were arrested following a petition received from the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

“Their arrest was a sequel to a petition from the US Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI, and intelligence by operatives of the Commission,” Oyewale said.

“Items recovered from them at the point of arrest include a 5-bedroom duplex, Mercedes-Benz CA250, Mercedes-Benz C250, Mercedes Benz GLK 350, laptop computers and mobile phones.”

The commission said the suspects have made their statements and they will be prosecuted.

“The suspects have made useful statements and will be charged to court. This will be as soon as investigations are complete,” the EFCC said.

Recall that, on Saturday, March 7, 2020, Operatives of the EFCC arrested one Oladimeji Ogunfolaju. He was arrested alongside 79 other persons for alleged involvements in internet fraud. EFCC recovered

The 30-year-old Ogunfolaju and his gangs were arrested at Lakers Hotel and Lake County Entertainment located at 29, Ebute-Igbogbo Road; Ikorodu, Lagos on Saturday.
