Part of China’s Yongwu Highway, built across the Poyang lake, is known as the “Most Beautiful Road Under Water”.

Every year, part of the Yongwu road becomes submerged in rising water of the Poyang lake due to heavy downpour.

The Poyang lake located in Jiujiang city, Jiangxi province, is the largest freshwater lake in China. Built across this lake is a 5-kilometer-long road known as “the most beautiful road under water”.

The famous magical road is the only road connecting Wucheng township to other towns and counties. It cuts the lake into two different tones, presenting a distinct sight for the tourists.
