Chinese Professional Snooker Player Rode In A Customized Zeekr 009 Minivan On The Road To Victory

Chinese Professional Snooker Player, Zhao Xintong, rode a customized Zeekr 009 Minivan on the road to victory.

Zhao become the first Asian to win the World Snooker Championship earlier this month, following his victory over Mark Williams.

Following his victory, Zhao was chauffeured away in a customized Zeekr 009 Minivan specially created for him by Zeekr.

Finished in striking black and green two-tone, the snooker champion’s Zeekr 009 boasts distinct exterior artwork, including a caricature of Zhao.

Exterior also adorned with snooker balls and the number “147” (pronounced as one-four-seven) — a reference to the sport’s highest possible break.

Earlier this month, Chinese professional snooker player, Zhao Xintong, become the first Chinese and the first Asian to win the World Snooker Championship, following an 18-12 victory over Mark Williams on May 6, 2025.

The 28-year-old reigning World Champion, nicknamed ‘The Cyclone’, swept aside Mark Williams, nicknamed “The Welsh Potting Machine”, to earn the famous trophy and a cheque for £500,000 ($665,000 United States Dollar).

“Winning the championship is the big dream for Chinese snooker,” Zhao said prior to facing Williams in the final.

Following his victory, Zhao was chauffeured away from the tournament venue in a customized Zeekr 009 Minivan specially created for him by Geely-owned Chinese automaker, Zeekr.

“He rode Zeekr 009 on the road to championship. I wish Zhao Xintong more success?,” Zhao Chunlin, the vice president of Zeekr wrote on his Weibo account ahead of Zhao’s meeting with Mark Williams in the final.

Finished in striking black and green Two-tone paint, the champion’s Zeekr 009 boasts distinct exterior artwork, featuring a caricature of Zhao, snooker balls and the number “147” (pronounced as one-four-seven) — a reference to the sport’s highest possible break.

Like the base Zeekr 009, it uses a 108 kWh 5C Qilin battery-pack from CATL, which provides a CLTC range of 702 km (436 miles). A 800V electrical architecture a 10-80 percent charge time of 11.5 minutes.
