The Lykan HyperSport is the latest addition to the DCAS fleet of 331 vehicles that cover different areas in the Emirate.
The ‘HyperSport Responder’ is one of only seven Lykan HyperSport cars in the world.
Lykan Hypersport can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 2.8 seconds, and has a top speed of 400 kmph.
The Lykan HyperSport car made its first appearance in the Hollywood blockbuster movie, Fast & Furious 7.
Oil rich Dubai in United Arab Emirates (UAE) has unveiled the world’s fastest and most expensive ambulance responder, a Lykan Hypersport, dubbed the ‘HyperSport Responder’ at Expo 2020 Dubai.
According to the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS), the Lykan HyperSport supercar, created by Dubai-based company W Motors, reflects Dubai’s unique position as one of the leading cities in the world in the field of innovation.
Khalifa bin Darrai, CEO of the DCAS, said:
“Dubai has become synonymous with everything that is unique and the first in the world. The launch of ‘HyperSport Responder’ reflects Dubai’s unique position as one of the leading cities in the world in the field of innovation.
The car’s speed and capabilities can significantly reduce response time during emergencies and ensure timely intervention.”
The Lykan HyperSport car, which made its first appearance in the Hollywood blockbuster movie Fast & Furious 7, starts at $3.4 million (₦1.4 Billion). It is the latest addition to the DCAS fleet of 331 vehicles that cover different areas in the Emirate.
The ‘HyperSport Responder’, is one of only seven Lykan HyperSport cars in the world. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 2.8 seconds, and has a top speed of 400 kmph.
The ‘HyperSport Responder’ is outfitted with a striking livery of white and red and an exterior slogan ‘Dubai, the world’s best city to live in’ and the logo of ‘DubaiDestinations’.
The ‘Responder’ also comes with a hand-made carbon-fibre body and is equipped with many futuristic features, including the world’s first 3D hologram holographic mid-air display with interactive motion control, and a satellite navigation system.
In addition, the unique responder also has base equipments like front LED headlights lined with 440 diamonds, a gold-plated interior roof and well as a cabin upholstered in gold stitched leather.
