Earlier this month, the Dubai Police added a Cadillac CT5 and two Audi R8’s to its amazing list of high-performance and expensive cars that will make anyone think twice before flouting road laws.
But before these latest additions, the Police Department from oil rich United Arab Emirates had a Brabus-tuned Mercedes-AMG G63 SUV which joined its fleet over eight years ago.

Based on the high performance Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon, the Dubai’s 2013 G-Class is essentially a Brabus B63S-Widestar fitted with an LED light bar, special paint and a giant 23-inch forged wheels.
The 2013 AMG G63 uses an uprated twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V-8 that now delivers 700 hp and 708 lb-ft of torque. This power allows a 0-62 mph in 4.9 seconds, and to a top speed of 149 mph — enough to chase down perps on the open highway.
