Happiness Patrol Team From Abu Dhabi Police Drops Greeting Cards On Cars On Eid-ul-Fitr Day
Happiness Patrol Team from Abu Dhabi Police surprises residents with greeting cards on Eid-ul-Fitr Day.
The project was unveiled in the UAE in 2016 to promote positive values and stimulate road users to abide by the law of traffic.
The patrol team stop cars to reward motorists for good driving or desirable driving behavior.
They reward law abiding road users with white points, which cancel out any black points they’ve accumulated on their licenses.
Some lucky drivers are also rewarded with ‘happiness vouchers’ for their good behaviour on the road.
The Happiness Patrol Team drove around Abu Dhabi in the oil rich United Arab Emirate earlier this week to celebrate the Eid-ul-Fitr, the celebration of breaking the fast, with citizens of Abu Dhabi, Al-Ain, and Zafra.
The patrol team from Abu Dhabi Police Department left greeting cards on residents’ vehicles to surprise them in the morning as they went out to perform the Eid prayer.
