Kim’s Maybach Limo With Toilet Traveled With North Korean Leader To Russia In Armored Train
Moment North Korean Kim Jong-un arrived in Maybach 62 S limo for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
North Korean leader’s $1m+ Maybach was brought from Pyongyang to Russia in the North Korean leader’s special armored train.
Kim’s custom armored limousine is based on the luxury Maybach 62 S, which cost about $493,000 as of early 2008.
In addition to Maybach 62 S, the North Korean leader uses an armored Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman Guards.
Both Mercedes-Maybach S600 and the Maybach 62 S that travels with Kim abroad are equipped with personal toilet.
Vladimir Putin greeted North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, with an enthusiastic handshake that lasted about 40 seconds when the two leaders met at Russia’s modern space rocket launch site on Tuesday.
Like most world leaders do when they travel abroad, Kim depended on his official limousine for the trip to Russia, which was brought from Pyongyang in the North Korean leader’s special armored train.
Vladimir Putin met Kim’s 4-door armored Maybach 62 S limousine at the entrance to the launch facility on Wednesday. Kim’s custom armored limousine is based on the Maybach 62 S, which cost about $493,000 as of early 2008.
In addition to Maybach S, the North Korean leader uses a modified armored Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman Guards that is decked out with a luxurious leather-lined interior.
Both S600 and the 62 S that travels with Kim abroad are reportedly equipped with personal toilet to prevent foreign spies from collecting samples that may reveal informations about his health status.
The North Korean leader’s armored vehicles, estimated to have been worth well over $1 million each at the time of purchase, are fitted with key communications systems, which allows him to remain fully in touch with the rest of the world.
