Los Angeles Police Recovers Stolen Porsche With Missing Engine, Doors, Seats, Wheels, Steering Wheel
Central Traffic Division of LAPD recovers stolen black Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet after being stripped to the bone.
Photos shared shows the car with missing exterior and interior parts, with the car thieves leaving only the structural chassis behind.
Parts stolen includes engine, bonnet, boot lid as well as the both doors and seats. All four wheels and body panels were also carted away.

Professional thieves in Los Angeles have written off a black Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet after stripping the sports car to the bone to steal its highly valuable parts, including the doors, steering wheel and seats.
Photos shared by the LAPD shows the black Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet with missing valuable exterior and interior components, with the car thieves leaving only the structural chassis behind.
Parts stolen from the rear-engined rear-engined convertible sports car includes bonnet, boot lid, steering wheel, both driver and passenger doors, engine as well as all seats. All four wheels and body panels were also carted away.

Following the recovery of the vehicle, officers with the Central Traffic Division of Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) notified the owner and passed on information to detectives to investigate.
“Officers recovered a stripped and stolen Porsche. The R/O was notified and the information was passed to detectives,” LAPD wrote while sharing photos of the recovered stolen Porsche.
