International Car Theft Ring Steals 60 Toyota Land Cruisers And Prados In 11 Days, Australia Police Arrest 7
Detectives in Australia burst international car theft ring who stole 60 Toyota Land Cruisers and Prados in 11 days.
Theft carried out by a group of foreign nationals who ships stolen vehicles to UAE for profit.
Throughout the investigation, Australia police recovered 15 of the most recently stolen Toyota vehicles.
Seven men aged between 28 and 45 have been arrested and charged with more than 300 offences.

Police in Australia has burst an international car theft ring who allegedly stole sixty (60) latest-gen Toyota Land Cruisers LC 300 Series and Prados SUVs worth about $9 million in the Brisbane region between October 20 and December 1 2025.
Responding to a recent increase in vehicle thefts, Brisbane detectives on 17 November launched operation Xray Lox in partnership with Australian Federal Police, Australian Border Force and Victorian Police Vehicle Crime Squad.

According to a report from the Queensland Police, the theft was carried out by a group of foreign nationals who specializes in sending shipping containers with stolen vehicles to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for profit.
Throughout the investigation, 15 of the most recently stolen vehicles were recovered from a Rocklea wrecking yard, the Port of Brisbane, and Port of Melbourne, including two Land Cruisers hidden behind a facade of disassembled vehicle parts.

Seven men aged between 28 and 45 have been arrested and charged with more than 300 offences, including “counts of stealing of a vehicle” and “counts of attempted stealing of a vehicle”.
“Offences of this nature are brazen and can cause significant disruption to our community’s feeling of safety and ability to travel to work, run errands, take children to school, or meet family and friends,” said South Brisbane District Detective Inspector, Paul Dalton.
“This investigation was a top priority for local detectives to prevent further harm, hold the alleged offenders to account, and provide answers for victims.”
