Mercedes-Benz E-Class Voted Nigeria’s ‘Most Popular Luxury Model Of The Year’ At 2025 NAJA
Mercedes-Benz E-Class voted ‘Most Popular Luxury Model of the Year’ at 2025 Nigeria Auto Journalists Association (NAJA) awards.
Latest E-Class arrived in the Nigerian market in November 2024 at an event organized by Skymit and Weststar Associates.
Also at the NAJA awards, Mercedes-Benz S-Class was awarded the ‘Luxury Car Of The Year’ for the second time in a row.

The all-new Mercedes-Benz E-Class ultra-luxury sedan clinched the ‘Most Popular Luxury Model of the Year’ award at the 18th edition of the Nigeria Auto Journalists Association (NAJA) awards held on Tuesday December 16th, 2025.
Also at the event, its bigger brother, the latest-gen Mercedes-Benz S-Class ultra-luxury sedan, also marketed by the Weststar Associates Ltd, was awarded the ‘Luxury Car Of The Year’ for the second time in a row.

This accolades comes a year after the all-new Mercedes-Benz E-Class made its debut in the lucrative Nigerian market in November 2024 at the Banana Island Estate’s annual Starlight Night, an event organized by Skymit Motors Ltd, an authorised Mercedes-Benz dealership in Nigeria and Weststar Associates Ltd.
“Like its predecessor, the new E-Class promises to redefine the automotive landscape in Nigeria and provide an unrivaled driving experience,” Mr Martin Ayeni, the Executive Director Skymit said at the unveiling.

“The new E-Class marks the advent of a new generation, introducing more technology and luxury, the powertrains are complemented by a fresh exterior design, creating a captivating presence on the road.”
“Inside the vehicle, a plethora of new technology features permeate the cabin, providing a digital atmosphere that’s both immersive and intelligent”.



Inside, the new E-Class features a new digital dashboard Super-screen that is pre-loaded with third-party apps such as Angry Birds and TikTok. In addition, the has five cameras designed to improve driver safety and passenger comfort.
Earlier in the year, the Euro New Car Assessment Program (Euro NCAP) awarded the Mercedes‑Benz E‑Class the “Best Performer” of 2024 after the Executive car topped the overall safety score of cars it tested last year.
