Moment LASTMA Official Falls Off A Moving Truck While Trying To Arrest The Fleeing Driver (Video)
This is the moment an official of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) falls off a moving truck while trying to arrest the driver.
Luckily, no car was coming behind, but the LASTMA officer will need to visit the hospital to treat his injuries.
Lagos recently introduced a handheld device that allows real-time capture of picture and video evidence of road traffic and vehicle violations.
The device will help safeguard the lives of its officials and stop the need of chasing fleeing motorists.

A motorists has shared the scary moment an official of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) falls off a moving truck while trying to arrest the driver
The footage starts from when the official hung dangerously on the right side of the moving truck in what looks like a scene from the Marvel Comics superhero film, Spider-Man.


It wasn’t long before the LASTMA official fell off the moving truck, smashing his body hard on the road. Luckily, no car was coming behind, but the officer will need to visit the hospital to treat his injuries.
To safeguard the lives of its officials and to stop the need to chase fleeing motorists, just like in this case, the Lagos State Government recently introduced handheld device that allows real-time capture of picture and video evidence of road traffic and vehicle violations.

The handheld device, according to the State Government, would be used by both the Lagos Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) and the Vehicle Inspection Service (VIS) in their operations.
Lagos Govt said that the introduction of the device will ease traffic gridlock on Lagos roads and put to rest controversies surrounding the operation of law enforcement agents and traffic violators.
