New Équipe Pur Sang Package Adds 8 Exhaust Pipes, Rear Wing To $4.1m Bugatti Tourbillon Hypercar

French automaker, Bugatti, reveals Équipe Pur Sang Package as Tourbillon owners begins bespoke configuration sessions.

Équipe Pur Sang package, which translates to “Thoroughbred Team” in English, pays homage to Bugatti’s motorsport history.

Motorsport-inspired Équipe Pur Sang Package adds new rear diffuser, a new rear wing and purpose-built 8-pipe exhaust system.

Limited to just 250 examples, each of the Tourbillon starts at $4.1m, before unlimited options available on Équipe Pur Sang Package.

Bugatti has officially debuted the new Équipe Pur Sang package as the first Tourbillon customers begins to customize their future hyper sports cars during bespoke one-on-one configuration sessions at the brand’s historic home in Molsheim and at Bugatti partners all around the world.

The motorsport-inspired Équipe Pur Sang package, which translates to “Thoroughbred Team” in English, pays homage to the Tourbillon hypercar’s incomparable performance and Bugatti’s motorsport history.

On the exterior, the Équipe Pur Sang option enhances the Tourbillon with a purpose-built 8-pipe exhaust system and newly conceived directional wheels that are differently sized – 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear.

The package also adds bespoke rear wing – featuring small endplates to improve aero efficiency – and a specialized rear diffuser to further enhance aerodynamic efficiency and improving the downforce of the car.

Inside the cabin, the Équipe Pur Sang option adds Performance Seat as standard. Bugatti says that the seats are designed specifically to provide enhanced lateral support during high-G cornering.

In addition to the Équipe Pur Sang package, Tourbillon buyers have a myriad of options to choose from, including 23 new exterior colors, 20 new leather options, 10 new Alcantara options and seven carpet colors.

Limited to just 250 examples globally, each of the 1,800 horsepower Bugatti Tourbillon has a starting of 3.8 million euros (roughly $4.1 million), before the unlimited options available on the new Équipe Pur Sang Package.
