Norwegian Air honors World Cup Bet, changes Instagram Logo to British Airways’ after England’s victory.
Ahead of the match, the two national carriers agreed that the loser would change their Instagram profile picture to the winner’s for 24 hours.

Norwegian Air honored a friendly social media bet with British Airways by temporarily changing its instagram profile to the BA logo following England’s 2-1 victory against Norway in the FIFA World Cup quarter-final.
Ahead of the England versus Norway quarter-final game on Saturday, the two national carriers made a light-hearted bet: the loser would change its Instagram profile picture to the winner’s logo for 24 hours.

“While the tournament is over for us, this friendly bet will forever live in all our hearts. We wish England and @british_airways all the best in the semi-final, and we sincerely hope you’ll get to bring football home,” the Oslo-based airline wrote.
Reacting to the gesture, British Airways—the national flag carrier airline of the United Kingdom, wrote : “We love this new look on you. Well played, thanks for all the fun @flynorwegian and here’s to our new friendship.”
