The Ola company recently made a terrific entry in the Indian 2-wheeler market by launching its first e-scooter, which is available in two variants – S1 and S1 Pro. This initiate by the company got a massive positive response from the customers.
The Ola Electric scooter looks amazing and is loaded with cutting-edge technology. After the successful launch of the scooter, the company now intends to bring its electric car into the Indian EV market.
According to the recent media reports, co-founder & CEO of Ola Group, Bhavish Aggarwal confirmed that the company is actively working on the plan of entering the electric car market by the introduction of its e-car in the next two years.
He refused to reveal any further information on the planned Ola electric car in India, saying he will discuss the project closer to its market debut. Also, it came to know that the manufacturer is also planning to establish a global design center for the electric car business in Bengaluru.
Not many details are available yet about the looks of the anticipated e-car but as per the sources, the Ola Electric car will be developed on a born-electric skateboard platform, which is a sort of automotive chassis layout that reduces the cost and complexity of producing an electric vehicle.

Furthermore, it is a kind of platform that includes electric motors, batteries, and drive components that can be scaled to various sizes and topped with a variety of bodywork.

It is evident from the reports of the company’s program of establishing an EV charging network named Ola Hyper Charger Network, which according to them will be the world’s largest charging network.
