A one-off Lamborghini Revuelto ‘Opera Unica’, which celebrates the brand’s 60th anniversary, sold for $1.3 million.
It features exterior paintjob that fades from Viola Pasifae to Nero Helene, a process that took a total of 435 hours to execute.
The interior also gets an additional 220 hours worth of customisation, including multicoloured 60th anniversary logo embroidery.
Highly customized version of Lamborghini’s first V12 hybrid plug-in HPEV was created by Centro Stile.
A one-off Lamborghini Revuelto ‘Opera Unica’, created to celebrate the Italian supercar manufacturer’s 60th anniversary, has been sold at auction for one million pounds (about $1.3 million dollars).
Presented earlier this month at Art Basel Miami Beach 2023, the one-off piece of art features a futuristic exterior paintjob that fades from Viola Pasifae to Nero Helene, a process that took a total of 435 hours to execute.
Based on the $550,000 Lamborghini Revuelto, the highly customized version of the brand’s first V12 hybrid plug-in HPEV was created by Centro Stile, under the direction of Lamborghini’s Ad Personam team.
Mitja Borkert, the director of Lamborghini Centro Stile since 2016, said:
“We wanted to celebrate our 60th birthday, of course. We are celebrating the car itself, with this paint job, which is showing off all the suspended floating pieces on the body, the three-dimensional shapes, the aerodynamic airflow.
“And it is celebrating our Ad Personam programme that is offering our customers the highest opportunity to make a personalisation on their car.
The interior gets an additional 220 hours worth of customisation too, including a two-tone leather in Nero Ade and Viola Acutus as well as 60th anniversary logo embroidery on the seat backrests, door inserts and the headliners.
“As the company’s top market globally, it’s quite fitting that we bring this Revuelto ‘Opera Unica’ to the U.S. and present it during Art Basel Miami Beach,” remarks Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.
Like the base Lamborghini Revuelto, this stunning one-off piece of art uses the V12 plug-in hybrid powertrain, which churns out 1,001-horsepower output with 595 lb-ft of torque.
