Mercedes-Benz has given us the first look at the high-tech and spacious cabin of the upcoming electric C-Class luxury compact car, ahead of its world premiere on Monday 20 April 2026 in South Korea.

At launch, customers will be able to choose between the MBUX Superscreen or the floating, pillar-to-pillar MBUX Hyperscreen that stretches across the entire width of the interior, the latter which creates an incomparable immersive sense of space.

Also available in the electric C-Class is a Burmester 3D sound system, which comes as standard. There is an optional SKY CONTROL panoramic roof, which has 162 illuminated stars that transforms the roof into a personalised starry sky.

Mercedes-Benz described the first electric variant of its best-selling and most popular model series as the “sportiest” as well as the “most spacious and most intelligent C-Class ever.”

Thanks to its innovative multi-source heat pump fitted as standard, the marque said the interior of the new electric C-Class heats up twice as fast as in combustion-powered models during a 20-minute journey at a frosty -7 degrees Celsius.

“With the all-new electric C‑Class, we’ve raised everything customers love about this model to the next level. The result is a new benchmark for quality, craftsmanship and comfort. It is the most spacious and most intelligent C-Class ever,” said Ola Källenius, Mercedes-Benz CEO.
