Today’s Photos : 8-inch thick armored doors of U.S President’s Limousine are as heavy as Boeing 757 cabin door.



US President Joe Biden’s presidential state car popularly known as the “Beast” is always surrounded by up to 45 armed vehicles, including an identical decoy to confuse would-be attackers.
While the full capabilities of the Beast are (of course) a secret, we know that the military grade armored vehicle has more than 7 inches thick bulletproof plating, according to local reports.


In addition to riding on a Kevlar-reinforced run-flats tyres, the limousine is said to have an 8-inch thick armored doors that are as heavy as the cabin door of a Boeing 757 aircraft.
Other features includes a completely sealed interior to ward off a chemical attack. It also weighs about 15,000 to 20,000 pounds (6,800 to 9,100kg) – which is about six times the weight of 2014 Toyota Camry sedan.
