Remember This Old School Nissan 240SX? Some One Bought It For ₦13m

We are very sure that most of us remember or still see the 1990 Nissan 240SX well it was recently auctioned for $32,750 (₦13m) at an online event in the US. That has made the 240SX reach collector’s item status among other classic cars. These cars were quite popular in Nigeria back in the day and some can still be seen plying the road today.

The exterior of this 240SX is finished in Cherry Red Pearl and retains the factory 15-inch wheels with Bridgestone Turanza QL10 tires. It also sports retractable headlights, a removable pop-up sunroof, power antenna, and dual tailpipes. There are some paint blemishes across the exterior and a crack in the windshield, but that clearly didn’t dissuade someone from coughing up a lot of money to buy it.

On the interior, the car is trimmed in grey cloth with a matching glove box lid, door panels, and carpeting. The odometer shows that the 240SX has just 74,000 miles on the clock. Power comes from a 2.4-litre naturally-aspirated 4-cylinder engine. The engine produces 140hp and is coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission that drives the rear wheels.
