Meet The New Rolls-Royce Boat Tail, Just 3 Will Be Built

Meet the new Rolls-Royce Boat Tail, a unique coachbuilt creation inspired by the boats.
Just three will be built, with each of the three customers having the privilege to customized their Boat Tail.
Rolls-Royce has revealed its latest custom creation, the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail, a unique coachbuilt creation inspired by the boats and everything nautical.
The 19-foot long automotive masterpiece uses the Architecture of Luxury and 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 found in latest models like the Rolls-Royce Phantom, Ghost, and Cullinan.
In addition to taking four years to design this bespoke ride from the ground up, Rolls-Royce said it created 1,813 completely new parts for the Boat Tail.
At the front, it has a new pantheon grille with a unique lighting signature that looks like a modern interpretation of the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead.
At the rear, it features a wraparound windshield meant to give the Boat Tail a yacht-like appearance. The rear also features a wooden rear deck with a Caleidolegno veneer.
At the touch of a single button, the car’s rear deck performs a sweeping butterfly gesture, revealing several impressive features. These includes a double champagne refrigerator, silver cutlery with “Boat Tail” inscriptions and Porcelain plates from Christofle in Paris.
Just three will ever be built, with each of the three lucky customer having the privilege to customized Boat Tail to their own taste.
The unveiling of this unique bespoke creation comes just days after Rolls-Royce announced it would reopen its Coachbuild department.
