According to report, this bespoke Rolls-Royce Phantom 8 ultra-luxury sedan wearing the unique ‘F1’ belong to Nigerian socialite popularly known as Farouk Alujonu Omo Lemomu – with the ‘F’ likely gotten from his first name.
While Farouk’s ‘F1 plate’ was inspired by his name, another ‘F1’ owned by Afzal Kahn and registered in the United Kingdom has roots linked to Formula One (F1) and currently worth £15 million to day.
Afzal Kahn, a self-made millionaire and founder of luxury car tuner, Kahn Design and the Chelsea Truck Company, recently revealed that a ‘F1’ number plate he purchased 17 years ago for £440,000 is the best investment he ever made.
“The best investment I ever made!,” the Formula One fan said of his F1 plate (which may cost up to £15 million to day) in a post shared on his Instagram page in February 2025.
One of the world’s most desirable and sought-after number plates, the F1 registration number plate currently sits on his red carbon Bugatti Veyron Super Sport – one of only three in the world.
