Russian Automotive YouTuber Set To Rebuild $2 Million McLaren P1 Swept Away By Floodwaters - autojosh

Russian Automotive YouTuber, Tavarish, set to rebuild $2 Million McLaren P1 swept away by floodwaters.

Flood damaged 2014 McLaren P1 sports car was sold to Tavarish for $575,000 during an online auction.

Tavarish is known for his rebuilding videos, where he brings broken or salvaged vehicles to working condition.

The P1 went viral last November after being swept down the street by floodings caused by the remnants of the category 4 storm.





The former owner of the McLaren P1, Ernie, just took ownership of the British-made sports car a week before the incident. 

Earlier in the year, a flood damaged 2014 McLaren P1 sports car was sold for $575,000 during an online auction to Russian automotive YouTuber, Freddy Hernandez, better known online as Tavarish.

The bright yellow McLaren P1 went viral around the world last November after being swept down the street in Naples by flash floodings caused by the remnants of the category 4 storm.

36 year old Tavarish is known primarily for his rebuilding videos, where he buys broken or salvaged vehicles like this P1 and brings them to working condition.





On his Facebook page on Friday 31st March, he said :

“This is it. The biggest project I have ever done. The $2 million McLaren P1 you all saw flooded in Hurricane Ian. I don’t know how I’m going to do it, but it will be rebuilt and on the road again.

The former owner of the McLaren P1, Ernie, just took ownership of the British-made sports car worth $2 Million a week before the incident. Ernie is known for showing off his fleet of luxury cars on his Instagram account, Lambo9286.
