The 900th Electric Bus Enters Service In Moscow, Russia
The 900th Electric Bus has entered service in the city of Moscow, Russia.

As at November 2020, the city had about 500 electric bus plying the roads.
The 900th battery-electric bus has began operation in Moscow, the capital of Russia. According to operator, Mosgortrans, the jubilee eco-bus decorated with garlands will operate in the south of the city.
The New Year’s 900th electric bus, along with 49 other festively decorated electric buses will operate in the south of the city until January 30, 2022.
As at November 2020, the city had about 500 electric bus plying the roads. The electric bus fleet is expected to expand to over 2,000 by 2023 and more than 3,000 units by 2024.
Today, the city of Moscow has 65 electric bus routes with a total length of almost 800 kilometers. Since it began operation three years ago, Mosgortrans eco-buses have transported 150 million people, and more than 77 million in 2021.
Moscow is now actively developing charging infrastructure. Currently, there are more than 150 charging structures in the city. By the end of 2023 this number to rise to up to 500 stations.
