US Ban Cars With Chinese And Russian Technology

The US administration of President Joe Biden is set to ban the sale of cars that contain technology from countries deemed “of concern,” such as China and Russia.
The ban specifically targets technologies that connect vehicles to other systems or networks, such as the internet and other vehicles, Washington announced. The measure is intended to “protect the United States from national security risks.”
American media previously reported that Washington would come up with this ban. In response, China warned the US not to take discriminatory measures against Chinese companies. The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on Washington to “respect market principles and provide an open, fair, transparent and non-discriminatory business environment for Chinese enterprises”.
