The Ford Mustang 4 Door And Hybrid Models Coming Very Soon
The best-selling model in its segment worldwide, the Ford Mustang, retains great potential. The brand’s big boss reveals development avenues to broaden its spectrum. But not everything is achievable.
The famous Ford Mustang, launched in April 1964, is celebrating its half-century this year. A legendary model for the Blue Oval brand, it will remain a strong source of inspiration and will, in the future, be available in various forms. The American manufacturer would be wrong to deprive itself of it; in fact, the sports coupe remains the best-selling model in its segment worldwide.
Thus, to the coupe and convertible will be added a 4-door coupe version, or a low sedan if you prefer; the track is envisaged. A really desirable official sketch was even published in September 2022, during the reveal of the seventh generation. This is a theme that the illustrator, Sugar Design, explored by brilliantly modelling the lines of a more family-oriented Mustang.

The big boss at Ford nevertheless insisted that this elongated Mustang retain the spirit of the original model. Understand that it will not have to follow the spirit of a Porsche Panamera, which no longer has anything in common with the 911.
Other almost confirmed developments of the Mustang, including hybrid versions, will be on the program. However, nothing has yet been clarified.
