Checkout The Vehicles Lagos State Government Acquired To Fight COVID-19 (PHOTOS)
The Babajide Sanwo-Olu-led government of Lagos State has announced that it has taken delivery of brand new vehicles for the public enlightenment.
In a statement posted on his Twitter handle, the Lagos State governor said: “In recognition of the strategic importance of enlightenment in the fight against Coronavirus, the Lagos State Government has taken delivery of new vehicles to play up advocacy on #Covid19”.
“Our #COVID19 advocacy team has been empowered with more vehicles. This is to aid information dissemination to all parts of our state”, tweeted Sanwo-Olu.
“Ignorance is not an excuse and if we are following news from around the world, the virus is no respecter of persons. We must all #TakeResponsibility”.

Recently, Gov. Sanwo-Olu dispelled the rumours that the state is on lock-down.
The Governor affirmed that there are certain stringent measures by the state to Fight Covid-19. However, locking down the state isn’t one of them.
He urged private sector establishments to introduce measures that will support some of the government’s efforts. This should be inline to curtail the spread of COVID-19. He also suggested that banks should enhance their online banking services. This is to enable their customers to have transactions without visiting banking halls.
Workers providing essential services were exempted from this directive. They include Fire Service, Emergency, health, water, telecommunication, security, media and others
