Tesla CEO Elon Musk has appeared on the new Joe Rogan Experience podcast show, hosted by Joe Rogan. During the show, the body of the Tesla Cybertruck was confirmed to be “arrow-proof” after Rogan challenged Musk he could penetrate the body with a broadside arrow.
After shooting an arrow at the Cybertruck’s stainless steel body, the impact created no holes but just small dent on the car’s exterior. The arrow on the other side was completely destroyed.
During the interview, Musk said that the Cybertruck weighs 6,000 to 7,000 pounds, depending on the version. He also revealed that a “Beast Mode” version of the all-electric pickup will be able to reach 60 mph (96 km/h) from rest in “under three seconds” time.
The arrow test comes just a few weeks after a video posted to X handle of Tesla Owners Club of Silicon Valley shows a Cybertruck driving with several bullet holes in the driver’s side of the vehicle.
Replying to the post, CEO Elon Musk revealed that the Cybertruck had an “entire drum magazine of a Tommy gun” emptied into the driver door, adding that no bullets penetrated into the cabin during the test.
“We emptied the entire drum magazine of a Tommy gun into the driver door Al Capone style. No bullets penetrated into the passenger compartment.”
